The ActivityInfo team has designed the two-day "Advanced ActivityInfo training" session for humanitarians interested in learning more about the software and its more advanced features and the way it can be used for M&E and information management to improve decision-making, planning and coordination within their organization or a programme.
The "Advanced ActivityInfo Training" is a fast-paced, two day session ideal for people who are working with more complex structures and programs which call for the design of a more complicated information system or for users of ActivityInfo who want to take their current knowledge to the next level. It is a session for M&E and IM officers who already know the basics of working with an information system such as ActivityInfo and want to work more with formulas, data analysis and advanced form design.
Participants will learn to set-up fully working and interactive databases with more complex configurations and will get the knowledge to move from a simple reporting database setup to an advanced Information System. We designed the training days in such a way so that participants with some prior experience in database management will be able to easily follow every step in mastering the software. Each day includes hands-on exercises for practicing what is learnt.
The training is addressed to Information Management officers, Monitoring and Evaluation officers or people who want to learn how the platform can improve their data collection and analysis processes. It is also useful for programme or project managers with some experience in information management who are interested in getting hands-on experience with an online M&E tool or want to bring in a new tool in their organization.
To provide high quality, one-on-one support to every participant, there will be limited seats available, so it is advisable to book your seat early enough. It is strongly advised to bring a laptop to benefit from the hands-on Training. The Training will be provided by the Technical Director and the Training Coordinator of the ActivityInfo team.
Following the completion of the training, every participant will receive an extension of 1 month on their trial subscription on ActivityInfo so as to have sufficient time to apply all things learnt and invite other people from their organisation.
